Fast Track Cymru Bulletin - December 2025

This year feels particularly significant and monumental. Fast Track Cymru, alongside hundreds of partners, organisations, communities and individuals, have achieved so many remarkable things in 2025.

This year we have become a registered charity, something that was essential to allow us to continue our impactful work. We are now the only Wales-based charity with a focus on HIV and related conditions; working collaboratively regionally and nationally across Wales to raise awareness, promote testing, combat stigma and advocate for those impacted by or at risk of HIV and related conditions.

It truly has been a defining year for Fast Track Cymru, marked by national success, impactful campaigning, strengthened partnerships, and deepened community engagement. As Wales continued to lead the way as the world’s first Fast Track Nation, our work focused on eliminating stigma, improving awareness of testing and prevention tools, and empowering communities across the country.

Looking ahead to 2026

As Fast Track Cymru looks toward 2026, the focus remains firmly on deepening our impact across Wales. Building on the momentum of the past year, we will continue strengthening community engagement by working even more closely with people in every region and across all demographics. Expanding awareness-raising efforts will remain central to our mission, ensuring that accurate information, supportive messages, and lived experience are visible in every corner of the country. Collaboration will continue to shape our approach. We will further develop partnerships across health, education, community organisations, and national networks, recognising that ending new HIV transmissions and reducing stigma requires collective effort. With our newly established charitable status providing a strong foundation for growth, 2026 will be a year of broadening participation, amplifying community voices, and driving progress through shared commitment.

Fast Track Cymru enters 2026 ready to build on what has already been achieved and determined to push further; together with communities, partners, and people across Wales.
