Fast Track UK & Ireland Conference 2026
23rd June 2026 | All Nations Conference Centre Cardiff
The Fast Track UK & Ireland Conference brings together people from across sectors, communities, cities and regions with a shared commitment: ending new HIV transmissions, tackling stigma, and improving the lives of those affected by HIV and related conditions.
This year's conference is being hosted by Fast Track Cymru at the All Nations Conference Centre, Cardiff and we are creating opportunities for connection, challenge, and collaboration. The conference is aimed at local authorities, clinicians, educators, third sector organisations, community leaders, and people with lived experience who can all come together as equal partners in shaping what comes next whilst hearing about a variety of initiatives from across the UK and Ireland.
Whether you are working on the frontline, influencing policy, supporting communities, or bringing your lived experience, this conference has something for you. The strength of the Fast Track movement lies in a collaborative approach which is reflected in the agenda.
Across the programme, we will explore:
-
Progress and impact
from Fast Track cities
and regions -
Innovations in HIV
prevention, testing,
and care -
The role of education and community-led approaches in tackling stigma
-
Health inequalities and
how we address
them together -
The voices of lived
experience in shaping
services and systems -
Opportunities for cross-sector collaboration and shared learning
The day will include keynote speakers, panel discussions, and interactive sessions designed to spark ideas, share best practice, and build meaningful connections that continue beyond the conference.
We are delighted to be joined by an incredible line-up of speakers, including:
Richard Angell, CEO of Terrence Higgins Trust
Tristan Barber, Chair of BHIVA
Garry Brough, Fast Track Cities London
Robbie Currie, CEO of National AIDS Trust
Grant Sugden, CEO of Waverley Care

Thanks to the support of Gilead, we are able to offer a limited number of sponsored places for the Fast Track UK & Ireland Conference.
While the conference itself is free to attend, we recognise that costs such as travel and accommodation can still present a barrier. We are committed to reducing these barriers and ensuring that people from a wide range of backgrounds, particularly those whose voices are often underrepresented, are able to be attend.
We strongly encourage applications from:
People with lived experience
Individuals working or volunteering in community or grassroots organisations
Those without access to organisational funding or financial support
Anyone for whom cost would otherwise prevent attendance
Your voice, experience, and perspective are valued, and we want the conference to reflect the diversity of the communities we serve and those it impacts the most.
You are welcome to apply for yourself or nominate someone else as long as you have their permission to share their information.
If demand exceeds the available funding, we will allocate support using a fair and transparent process that takes into account financial need, access to other funding, and the potential benefit of attending.
Please note that we will keep this information confidential in line with our privacy and GDPR policies.
